About Equity & Diversity

The Workforce Planning, Equity & Diversity Unit has responsibility for the University-wide development and monitoring of equity & diversity policies, plans and programmes, and oversees the University's compliance with the Sex Discrimination Act, 1984 (Cth), Disability Discrimination Act, 1992 (Cth), Racial Discrimination Act, 1975 (Cth), Affirmative Action (Equal Employment Opportunity for Women) Act, 1986 (Cth) and the Anti Discrimination Act, 1998 (Tas).

Member of the Unit also assist staff and students with complaints of unlawful discrimination and of harassment.
