Staff Equity Focus Groups

The University of Tasmania has four Equity Focus Groups which provide a forum where staff can meet to discuss issues that affect them as employees.  The Equity Focus Groups also provide advice to the Equal Opportunity Committee including the development of annual action plans to address issues raised by each group.

The Equity Focus Groups represent the following staff:

ATSI
Representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Staff
Chaired by Ms Clair Andersen

CALD
Representing staff from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds
Chaired by Associate Professor Vishy Karri

SWD
Representing Staff with a Disability
Chair to be appointed

WEFG
Representing Academic and General staff women at all levels
Chaired by Ms Kellie Peart
